Cleanups

As of the 2010 census, Toms River is home to over 90,000 residents.  Our current societal structures provide a magnitude of waste, and unfortunately - by accident or from lack of education - some of this waste winds up in our parks, waterways, and nature areas.  Toms River Moving Forward is committed to working to cleaning out town by directly removing litter, providing litter prevention initiatives, working to find new ways of dealing with waste and by educating people of the problems associated with carelessly disposing of waste products.

Currently, we hold two regular cleanups a month: the Second Saturday cleanups, and our Last Day of the Month (LDotM) cleanups.  The times may vary on these, and it is best to check here or on Facebook for location/time.  We also sporadic themed cleanups, and moving forward these will likely be added to our monthly schedule as well.
